The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey by Walter Mosley

Another hit by Mr. Walter Mosley...this book is about the final days of an elderly man and his battle against dementia. He recalls his loves, his failures, his tormented past in between his current days and troubles. His grand-nephew that used to watch him passed and Robyn, another family member steps up to protect him. She's genuine and they develop a relationship that's close to incest. Without giving away too much, Ptolemy makes sure he knows his family's real feelings and takes care of those that took care of him. You can't help but empathize with Ptolemu Grey as he battles his disease. This is a sweet book and it captured my heart, as much as Ptolemy did.
