Shaq: Uncut by Shaquille O'Neal and Jackie Macmillan
The things I learned from this book! I've been a sports fan for years - almost said decades then realized my age lol - and knowing the behind scenes occurances are thrilling. Granted I took everything with a grain of salt because it was written from Shaq's point of view, but that didn't deter from the quality of the stories. The book focused on Shaq's basketball career and how he became the international celebrity he is today. He gives you insight into all his career decisions and he personal relationships with many well-known players. It was exciting reading about his connections with all these names from the sports world. He talks about his issues with Orlando, relationship with Kobe and others. It felt good to read about names I've heard for years; Dick Vitale, Julius Erving, Christian Laettner, Penny Hardaway, Doc Rivers, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Larry Johnson, Brian Shaw and so many others.
