Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

This book has been on my "to read list for months. Recently a bunch of my friends have read the book and encouraged me to read it. I was bored until chapter 12 or 13. The story was very slow, sometimes redundant, and there were parts of the book i thought weren't necessary at all. Between chapters 19 and 20, I became invested in the book and actually wanted to read it. Not just read it because I started it and therefore needed to finish it. Ana Steel incidentally meets Christian Grey, a multi-millionaire. He pursues her and she ends up falling in love with him. He tries to warn her of his faults and even shows her his vices. Ana accepts it as a challenge and tries to change him. They become an odd couple, chastising and punishing each other inside and outside the bedroom. It's hard for me to buy into the concept of people meeting and falling in love in 3 weeks; I don't care if it's a movie or a book, it doesn't seem feasible to me. I haven't much of a desire to continue the series but my friends are adamant that I do. I'll get to it eventually. I suppose...
