Deadly Kiss by Michele Hauf

What enticed me to read this book was the fact that it was free to download to my Nook. The cover looked like the cover for a trashy sex novel. When I got to page 15 I realized the book was actually pretty good and wasn't what I thought was. I hadn't even realized I'd read so much. I've never been much into the vampire craze but I started caring about the characters and wanting to know more of their story. Ravin is a with and Nicklaus is a vampire. It is known that these two species deeply despise each other. Ravin believes that she has killed Nicklaus but he survives and thinks of nothing else but to kill her in revenge. The story becomes even more intriguing as the devil gets himself involved in the drama between them. I found it peculiar that Hauf (the author) capitalized the pronoun for the devil; using Himself. Deadly Kiss is scandalous and who doesn't enjoy a scandalous story. ^_^ I can't wait to read book 2 of this series, if there is one. I shall search and see. *giggles at self for unintentional alliteration*

  1. hahah I shall search and see. yeah that whole thing you said about the devil capitalization is intriguing to me as well. i love it when books are sinister like that, or at least when the narration is.
