This book didn't have the ending I wanted it to have. It moved slower than the previous two books but it didn't bore you. There is the back and forth between Katniss and her feelings towards Peeta and Gale. I am definitely a member of TEAM GALE; have been since The Hunger Games (book 1). There's the battle for Katniss and also the battle against the Capitol. Lives are lost and I was genuinely saddened for the characters. I guess it's every writer's job to not have the reader know what's going to happen next, but as a reader I was hoping everything would be fine. I wanted the fairy tale ending, I suppose, but is that too much to desire. LOL (thought to self: I'm such a female.)
