Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher

8Aug2014: Well well well...this book had me looking into myself as I never have before. There were so many moments where I felt a direct connection to the lead character, Senna Richards. This book is full of excitement, from the beginning, when Senna wakes up in a home that's not hers on her birthday. She realizes she's been abducted and tries to get out. Once out the room she finds another person tied up in another part of the hours. That's when things get even more interesting and they find out the hours is bordered by an electric fence. They are trapped together in the house for months. You learn their past history and they try to help each other deal with this situation. The way the story unfolds is progressive although there were few annoyingly obvious parts. I guess this book would classify as a psychological thriller. I did enjoy it but I can't think of much else to say that won't ruin or spoil the book so I'll end with my favorite quote from it:
